differntly delicous cake dessert Ingredients:
6 eggs |
275 g sugar |
375 g flour |
300 g butter or margarine |
2 tsp baking powder |
1 tsp vanilla |
4 cans of of mandarin oranges well drained |
( drained and reserve juice from 2 cans only ) |
Directions:
1. Separate the eggs and beat egg whites until stiff. 2. Beat egg yolks, sugar, vanilla sugar, and blend in flour and baking powder gradually. 3. Gently blend in egg whites 4. Grease an oblong baking pan well 5. Place on the batter 6. Equally spread on the drained oranges 7. Bake in 175C oven about 25 to 30 minutes or tested done 8. Then pour the reserved liquid over the warm cake 9. Serve warm or room temp or chilled with a dollop of whipped cream |
