~Dessert~ Ingredients:
1 envelope knox gelatin |
1/2 cup fresh orange juice,strain |
6 (oz) grated semi-sweet chocolate |
1/2 cup light cream |
2 farm fresh eggs,separated |
3 tablespoons orange liqueur |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 cup whipping cream,whipped |
Directions:
1. Soften knox gelatin in orange juice,set aside. 2. In pan ,melt chocolate,stirring constantly. 3. Mix milk,and egg yolks together,gradually at the milk mixture to the chocolate,stirring constantly. 4. Cook for about 4 to 5 minutes,stirring all the while. 5. Remove from heat,stir in the softened gelatin until completely mixed. 6. Stir in the orange liqueur. 7. Place in bowl,cover with plastic and refrigerate until mixture begins to thicken,stir from time to time,you may need to beat the mixture until smooth. 8. In bowl,beat the egg whites until foamy,gradually add the sugar and beat until stiff peaks form. 9. Fold egg whites into the chocolate mixture. 10. Fold the whipped cream. 11. Pour into serving dishes,refrigerate about 2 hours. |
