Mancinos is a locally owned restaurant that has meatball grinders, pizzas, pasta, etc. They use the meatballs on subs, pizzas, and in varous pasta dishes. LOVE them! As presented on a local news show. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef (93% lean) |
2 t olive oil |
1/2 white onion, chopped |
1 t chopped garlic |
4 eggs |
1/3 c romano cheese, grated |
1/3 c panko bread crumbs |
2 t choped parsley (flat leaf preferred) |
1/2 t kosher salt |
1/2 t fresh ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Wisk eggs 2. Add 2 T olive oil to saute pan 3. Sauté onions over medium/high heat until tender and golden. 4. Add garlic for last 30 seconds. 5. Whisk together eggs, onions, garlic, cheese, parsley, salt, pepper, bread crumbs & mix thoroughly 6. Combine mixture w/ ground beef, mix thoroughly with hands 7. Scoop meatballs to desired size and place on oil lined baking sheet 8. Bake at 350 degrees for 20- 25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through |
