Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups water |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 cup quick-cooking polenta |
1 tablespoon butter |
1/2 cup grated manchego or romano cheese |
Directions:
1. Bring water or broth to a boil in a medium saucepan; stir in salt and pepper. Slowly whisk in polenta, and cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until polenta is thickened and tender. Stir in butter and cheese. |
