Can use apples, pears or a mixture of fruit. Very good with vanilla ice cream on top when warm. Ingredients:
1 c sugar |
1 c milk |
1 c self-rising flour |
1 can peaches (16 oz) |
1/2 stick margarine, melted |
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 325 degrees. 2. Mix together in a bowl the sugar, milk and self-rising flour. 3. Pour into a casserole baking dish. 4. Spoon peaches and juice over the flour mixture. 5. Pour melted margarine over the top. 6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown on top. |
