These are my families favorite Brownies. The outside edges are chewy and the inside almost fudgy. There is always a battle over the edges LOL They usually fall in the middle so don't worry about that . Bake time is approximate I like to take them out while they are still almost undercooked. Ingredients:
1/2 cup flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 cup margarine |
6 tablespoons cocoa |
1 cup sugar |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup nuts |
Directions:
1. Sift the flour and baking powder into a small bowl and set aside. 2. Melt the margarine in a saucepan and add the cocoa. 3. Heat for a minute on very low heat being careful not to burn. 4. Remove from heat add sugar, flour and baking powder. 5. Blend well then add eggs . 6. Mix well add nuts. 7. Pour into a greased 8x8 pan. 8. Bake 350 for 20-30 minutes. |
