My boyfriend's lil creation that came about when he, somehow, had left over cream cheese mixture from making my Porky Peppers. The spiced cream cheese is key to making this sandwich his own! Ingredients:
1/2lb bacon, slices cut in half, and fried to just crisp |
4 large eggs |
1 avocado |
1 large, or two small tomatoes, sliced |
about 3oz cream cheese, softened |
dash of worcestershire sauce |
1/4t paprika |
1/4t dried parsley |
dash each of onion, garlic and fresh ground pepper |
squirt of fresh lemon juice(optional) |
drop of liquid smoke(optional) |
8 slices good whole wheat or grain bread |
Directions:
1. Combine cream cheese, Worcestershire, paprika, parsley, onion, garlic, pepper, lemon juice and liquid smoke until well blended. Set aside. 2. Fry bacon until just crisp. Drain and set aside. 3. Fry eggs in bacon grease until yolks are just set. 4. Lightly toast bread and spread one side of each slice with the cream cheese mixture. 5. Place egg on bottom slice of bread and arrange the rest of the ingredients, ending with tomato. 6. This works great for lunch or a breakfast sandwich! |
