this makes enough for the top of a normal size cake... you may want to make more if you like a lot going down the sides of your cake... this recipe is part of the malted chocolate cake recipe... it is form King Arthur Ingredients:
1/4 cup (2 ounces) heavy cream |
1 tablespoon corn syrup, light or dark |
1/4 cup (1 1/4)malted milk powder |
1/2 cup (3 ounces) semisweet or bittersweet chocolate, chopped into 1/4 pieces |
crushed malted milk balls, for garnish (optional) |
Directions:
1. Stir together the glaze ingredients (except the malted milk balls) over low heat until melted and smooth. 2. Drizzle the lukewarm glaze on top of your cake 3. then sprinkle with crushed malted milk balls (optional) |
