A pizza almost anyone can make with common household ingredients... A little something I came up with today when all I wanted to eat was pizza but didn't have the traditional ingredients... Ingredients:
3 cups biscuit mix |
3/4 cup water |
13 ounces hunt's spaghetti sauce |
1/2-1 lb ground beef or 1/2-1 lb ground chuck |
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese or 2 cups colby cheese or 2 cups mozzarella cheese |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. 2. Grease 12 inch pizza pan. 3. Mix biscuit mix and water in a medium to large bowl. 4. Knead until dough is solid enough to move to pizza pan. 5. Move to pizza pan and continue kneading until the dough can be easily formed to the pan. 6. Roll dough out to fill the pan. 7. Bake for 4 minutes. 8. Meanwhile, brown meat in a medium frying pan. 9. Season with Italian seasoning to taste. 10. Pour spaghetti sauce on crust and spread evenly, leaving a 1/2 inch border around the edges. 11. Spoon meat onto crust. 12. Bake another 5 minutes. 13. Add cheese and bake another 5 minutes. |
