Make Ahead Maple-pecan Breakfast |

Something to prepare for those special sunday brunches or breakfasts with family. Ingredients:
8 ounce pkg of fully cooked sausage patties. |
16. ounces of cinnamon swirl raisin bread cut into cubes |
6 eggs, beaten |
1-1/2 cup milk |
1-1/2 cup half and half |
1 t. vanilla extract |
1/4 t. nutmeg |
1/4 t. cinnamon |
1 cup chopped pecans |
2 t butter,melted |
2 t. maple syrup |
Directions:
1. brown sausage, drain and cut into bite sized pieces. 2. Place bread cubes in greased 13x9 baking dish or pan: Top with sausage. 3. Combine eggs, milk and half and half, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. 4. Pour mixture over bread and sausage. 5. Press bread into mixture. 6. Cover and refrigerate over night. 7. In bowl, combine pecans, butter, and maple syrup. 8. Drizzle over top. 9. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes. |
