Homemade eggnog is a tradition in many families during the holiday season. Our slow cooker version of the classic beverage shaves off calories and time spent preparing the festive drink.
Ingredients:
6 cups whole milk
1 cup egg substitute
2/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons rum extract
1-1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
french vanilla whipped topping, optional
Directions:
1. In a 3-qt. slow cooker, combine the first five ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours or until heated through. Serve in mugs; dollop with whipped topping if desired. Yield: 9 servings (3/4 cup each).
