A variation found in a 1978 cookbook called Ways to Prepare Meat . Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
salt |
pepper |
3 tablespoons chopped parsley |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Soften the butter and blend in all the ingredients. 2. Place in a small butter crock, cover and chill for about an hour. 3. The butter can also be shaped into a roll and wrapped. 4. When chilled, slice into rounds. 5. Serve with beef, lamb and veal. |
