i sometimes double the sauce ingriedients and serve with orzo pasta. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1 onion, diced |
24 large mushrooms, sliced |
1/4 teaspoon basil |
1/4 teaspoon oregano |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon garlic |
1 -2 dash worcestershire sauce |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
1/4 cup sherry wine |
Directions:
1. melt butter and saute onions till soft. 2. add mushrooms, and remaining ingriedients. 3. bring to a low simmer for 10-15 minutes. 4. serve with steaks or chicken. |
