Take a trip to the Farmer's Market with your kids and choose fruits to make a fresh fruit salad! Serve your fruit salad as a snack or with a meal. This salad is best when eaten as soon as it is ready. Each serving is 1/2 cup. I found this recipe in a Cornell Cooperative Extention leaflet. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting it for safe keeping. Ingredients:
4 cups fresh fruit |
3 1/2 ounces instant lemon pudding or 3 1/2 ounces instant vanilla pudding |
1 3/4 cups cold nonfat milk |
Directions:
1. Rinse fresh fruit. Chop into bite-sized chunks. 2. Sprinkle pudding mix over fruit. Add milk and toss well. Refrigerate for 5 minutes. 3. Refrigerate leftovers within 2-3 hours. |
