For us this is the perfect low fat, cheap, veggie chili: easy, delicious and freezer friendly. Ingredients:
2 (400 g) cans chopped tomatoes (800g in total) |
700 g passata |
1/4 teaspoon chili |
2 teaspoons onion powder |
2 garlic cloves, crushed |
1 teaspoon ground cumin |
1 teaspoon dried oregano |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
2 cups red lentils |
1 cup water |
2 (400 g) cans kidney beans |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. 2. Simmer for 30min. |
