For us this is the perfect low fat, cheap, veggie chili: easy, delicious and freezer friendly.
Ingredients:
2 (400 g) cans chopped tomatoes (800g in total)
700 g passata
1/4 teaspoon chili
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cups red lentils
1 cup water
2 (400 g) cans kidney beans
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
2. Simmer for 30min.
