These are great over a grilled steak Ingredients:
6 lg. onions, sliced 1/2 inch thick |
6 tbls. butter |
3/4 cup madeira |
2 tbls. chopped parsley |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in skillet 2. Add onions and stir to mix together. 3. Add 1/2 cup madeira and cover skillet 4. Cook over medium low heat until tender.(about 20 minutes) 5. Remove cover and let wine reduce to glaze 6. Stir in remaining madeira and chopped parsley. 7. Add salt and pepper |
