A snack that is very common here in Gib Ingredients:
2 lbs mackerel, deboned, and filleted |
2 garlic cloves, pounded |
1 tablespoon paprika |
1/2 teaspoon oregano |
1 pinch marjoram |
salt and pepper |
2 tablespoons vinegar |
water |
flour or beaten eggs or breadcrumbs |
Directions:
1. place the fish in all the other ingredients and leave to soak overnight. 2. Remove fish and let it dry off for about 1 hour. 3. roll fish in either flour, beaten egg or breadcrumbs and fry. |
