Ingredients:
1 pound peaches, sliced |
2/3 cup sugar |
1/4 cup grand marnier |
1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger |
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
3 slices of angel food cake |
1 scoop of vanilla bean ice cream |
fresh mint sprigs |
powdered sugar in shaker |
Directions:
1. In a glass container, combine all the ingredients together. Allow the peaches to marinate overnight. Using a fork, slightly mash 1/4 of the peaches against the side of the dish. Lay the pieces of angel food cake in a shallow bowl. Place the ice cream in the center of the cake. Spoon the peaches over the ice cream. Garnish with mint and powdered sugar |
