These are a bit of a twist on the Macaroon. Using only 4 items,you would nver recognize the crescent roll dough used for the base of the bar. Ingredients:
3 1/4 cups flaked coconut, divided |
1 can (14-oz.) sweetened condensed milk |
1 tsp. almond extract |
1 tube (8-oz.) refrigerated cresent rolls |
Directions:
1. Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups coconut into a well-greased 13x9x2-in. baking pan. 2. Combine milk and extract; drizzle half over the coconut. 3. Unroll crescent roll dough; arrange in a single layer over coconut. 4. Drizzle with remaining milk mixture; sprinkle with remaining coconut. 5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. 6. Cool completely before cutting. 7. Store in refrigerator. |
