Macaroni cooked in tomato soup on the stovetop. celery onion garlic soybean oil condensed tomato soup water, pepper dry macaroni cvt Ingredients:
2/3 cup chopped celery |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
1 tsp garlic |
2 tsp soybean oil |
1 can condensed tomato soup |
14 ounce water, rinsed though soup can |
3/8 tsp pepper |
1 cup dry macaroni |
Directions:
1. In a 1 1/2-qt saucepan, cook celery, onion and garlic in hot oil till tender but not brown. 2. Add remaining ingredients except macaroni. Simmer uncovered 20 minutes. 3. Add macaroni. Cover and continue cooking for 15 minutes or till macaroni is done. |
