Ingredients:
2 cup(s) elbow macaroni uncooked |
1 tablespoon(s) olive oil |
2 links italian sausage sliced |
3 tablespoon(s) butter |
3 tablespoon(s) flour |
1 cup(s) evaporated milk |
salt and pepper |
1 tablespoon(s) worchestershire sauce |
2 tablespoon(s) onion grated |
1 1/2 cup(s) old cheddar cheese shredded |
Directions:
1. cook macaroni,drain and reserve cooking liquid. add water to the liquid to make 2 cups. warm olive oil in skillet over medium heat. Add sausage slices and cook for 10 minutes. drain and set aside. Melt butter in sauce pan and add flour. Stir and continue to cook over medium low,heat until well corporated. Cook for 1 minute longer. Slowly stir in milk and reserved pasta liquid. Stirring constantly,bring mixture to the boiling point,season with salt and pepper,worchestire and onion. Add cheese and continue to heat over low heat until cheese is melted. Add cooked macaroni,mix well. Serve with sausage on top. |
