Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups milk, scalded |
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese |
1 teaspoon grated onion |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon paprika |
1/8 teaspoon hot sauce |
3 eggs, beaten |
1 1/2 cups diced, cooked ham |
1 cup elbow macaroni, cooked and drained |
Directions:
1. Combine milk and cheese in a heavy saucepan; cook over low heat, stirring until cheese melts. Remove from heat; stir in onion, salt, paprika, and hot sauce. Gradually stir one-fourth hot mixture into eggs; add to remaining hot mixture, stirring constantly. Stir in diced ham and macaroni. Pour ham mixture into a lightly greased 1 1/2- quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 35 minutes. |
