Comfort food! Ingredients:
2 cups macaroni, uncooked |
1 onion, diced |
1 teaspoon oil |
1 (6 ounce) can tuna, drained |
2 cups milk |
4 tablespoons flour |
4 tablespoons margarine |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon black pepper |
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated |
1/2 cup breadcrumbs |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Cook macaroni; drain. 3. Fry onions in oil until soft; combine with cooked macaroni and add drained tuna. 4. To make cheese sauce, combine milk, flour, margarine, salt and pepper and microwave until sauce is thick, stirring often. 5. Stir in cheddar cheese. 6. Pour over macaroni mixture and mix well. 7. Pour into a greased 8x8 inch dish and sprinkle with bread crumbs. 8. Bake for 30 minutes. |
