Macadamia Nut White Chocolate Cookies |

This is a recipe I obtained from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Rodgers Estate in Bonham, Texas in 1992. These are tried and true. I make them every year for the Cookie Exchange I host. Read more . Always a huge hit. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
3/4 cup brown sugar |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1 large egg |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
2 cups all purpose flour |
3/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1 cup white chocolate morsels |
7 ounces macadamia nuts chopped |
Directions:
1. Beat butter until fluffy then gradually add sugars beating well. 2. Add egg and vanilla and mix thoroughly. 3. Combine dry ingredients and gradually add to butter mixture. 4. Gently stir in morsels and nuts. 5. Drop by spoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheet. 6. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. 7. Cool on wire rack. |
