Macadamia Muffins Avec White Chocolate |

Here's a great muffin, especially if you like white chocolate and macadamia nuts as much as I do!!! Ingredients:
1-3/4 cups flour |
3/4 cup sugar |
2-1/2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 egg |
1/2 cup milk |
1/4 cup butter, melted |
3/4 cup white chocolate/vanilla chips |
3/4 cup chopped macadamia nuts |
glaze |
3/4 cup white chocolate/vanilla chips |
2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream |
Directions:
1. In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. 2. In another bowl, whisk the egg, milk and butter. 3. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. 4. Fold in the chips and nuts. 5. Fill paper-lined muffin cups two-thirds full. 6. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. 7. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack. 8. For glaze, in a small microwave-safe bowl, melt chips with cream. 9. Stir until smooth. 10. Drizzle over warm muffins. 11. Makes 12 muffins |
