This is a great easy fudge recipe from NESTLE :o) It is from a Christmas baking article. Ingredients:
1 cup macadamia pieces |
125g butter |
2 tbsp golden syrup |
395 g can nestle sweetened condensed milk |
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
150 g nestle milk melts ( i use choc melts or choc chips ). |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees C. 2. Line a deep 19 cm square cake pan with foil. I use baking paper. 3. Spread macadamia pieces on an oven tray, put tray in oven and bake/cook for 5 minutes or until light golden. Remove and allow to cool. 4. Melt butter in pan. 5. Add golden syrup, sugar and condensed milk. 6. Stir over a low heat until boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 10 mins, stirring occassionally. 7. Remove from heat and stir in milk melts and macadamia pieces. 8. Spoon fudge mixture into a prepared tin/pan. Allow fudge to set and then cut into squares. 9. Serve :o) |
