Ingredients:
3 tablespoon(s) butter |
3 tablespoon(s) flour |
3 cup(s) milk |
16 ounce(s) rotini pasta |
3 cup(s) sharp cheddar |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 2. cook pasta according to package directions for al dente 3. in saucepan, melt butter, add flour and cook for a minute - whisk in milk, season with salt and pepper and bring to bubble - turn burner off and stir in cheese until melted 4. when pasta is done, drain it well and combine with sauce - pour into dish and place in oven to brown the cheese 5. To freeze: complete instructions through #3, then let the mac and cheese cool, wrap tightly and put in freezer 6. To bake from freezer: can go straight from freezer to 400 oven - cook for 1 hour, covered with foil, take foil off and cook for 15-20 minutes longer to brown top |
