My basic mac and cheese. Ingredients:
4 cups whole wheat macaroni |
2 cups 1% milk |
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese |
2 tbsp flour |
2 tbsp butter |
1 tbsp whole grain mustard |
Directions:
1. cook pasta 2. melt butter, prepare a roux out of the flour and butter. Try & let the flour cook a bit to get a nice nutty flavour. 3. Add milk to prepare a white sauce. 4. add mustard, cook until thick. 5. Add cheese and pasta, pop into the oven and brown. |
