My daughter gave me this recipe...it is yummy! Ingredients:
1 cup flour |
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed |
1/2 cup cold butter |
1/2 cup chopped pecans |
1 1/2 cups miniature m&m baking bits (candies) |
8 ounces cream cheese, softened |
1/4 cup sugar |
1 large egg |
2 tablespoons milk |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
Directions:
1. In large bowl, combine flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter till mixture resembles coarse crumbs. 2. Stir in pecans. Set aside 1/2 cup for topping. 3. Press remaining crumb mixture into a greased 9 square pan. 4. Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned. 5. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar, add egg, milk, lemon juice and sugar, mix well, and pour over warm crust. 6. Bake 25-30 minutes, or till set. 7. Immediately sprinkle with M&M' candies. 8. Cool on wire rack. 9. Cut into bars. 10. Refrigerate leftovers. |
