My friend made this for me when I had my first child. It remains a favorite recipe, simple and delicious. Ingredients:
2 cups chicken, cooked and shredded |
2 cups chicken broth |
4 ounces mozzarella cheese |
8 ounces cheddar cheese, grated |
8 ounces fresh mushrooms |
1 onion, chopped |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup |
1 green pepper, chopped |
8 ounces thin spaghetti, cooked |
Directions:
1. Cook vegetables in broth until tender. Add soups and chicken. Stir in noodles. Add mozzarella and stir in until blended. Grease a 9x13 casserole and pour mixture in pan. Bake on 350 for 20 minutes. Top with cheddar and bake 15 minutes more. |
