This Saketini is smooth, fruity and tropical....not too much of anything. But just as love -ly as it's name implies! Recipe from SakeOne Tasting room. The sake called for is Tsubaki Grand Shrine Junmai Ginjo Genshu from SakeOne...it is a particular style and threfore flavor...but is very reasonably priced...and delicious! Hey folks...they ship! **TASTING NOTES Hearty hints of minerals, sweet black tea and dark caramel on the nose. Crisp and dry with a hint of sweet spice through the mid-palate. Ripe melon, brown sugar, and earth notes give way to a clean finish of spice and honey. The higher alcohol adds a kind of force or robustness without being overwhelming.** Ingredients:
2 ounces tsubaki sake |
1/2 ounce monin lychee syrup |
2 1/2 ounces pineapple juice |
mint |
ice |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a shaker. 2. Shake it like you mean it :) - 3. Serve it neat in a glass with a sprig of mint for garnish. 4. ENJOY! |
