Luscious Lemon Jello Cake |

This cake was my children's favorite when they were growing up. I still like to serve it in contrast to chocolate desserts when I entertain. It is easy and rich and super MOIST. Ingredients:
1 box lemon cake (supreme) |
1 box jello (small lemon) |
4 eggs |
3/4 cup oil |
1 cup hot water for the jello |
1 1/2 cup powered sugar |
6 tbsp. lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Dissolve the jellow in the 1 cup hot water. Let this cool till it STARTS to gel. 2. Mix the cake mix and 4 eggs and oil. 3. Stir the jello into the cake batter. 4. Pour into a 9 x 13 pan. 5. Bake at 350 degrees until done. 6. Topping: While the cake is still hot make holes on the top with a toothpick. Pour over the mixture of the powered sugar and the lemon juice. Let cake cool. |
