I started playing around with this drink idea a few years ago and came up with this final version which I love. It's a great drink to have while relaxing in the shade on a hot summer day. If you like lemon, then you'll love this Luscious Lemon cocktail. Ingredients:
1 1/2 ounces dry white vermouth (i like stock extra dry) |
1/4 ounce lemon liqueur (or to taste, i use lemoncello) |
1 teaspoon lemon juice (or to taste) |
Directions:
1. Pour each ingredient into a martini glass filled with ice cubes. Garnish with a curl of lemon rind if you want more lemon taste. Stir and enjoy.
2. I originally made this with a simple white sugar syrup in place of the Lemoncello liqueur. If you are cost conscious, try using that instead, maybe with a little lemon added to the syrup.
