This recipe comes from Kraft Food & Family. DH and his co-workers all gave it two thumbs up. It can be served warm or cold. Ingredients:
1 (18 ounce) box yellow cake mix |
3 eggs (or as called for by your cake mix) |
1/3 cup oil (or as called for by your cake mix) |
1 1/3 cups water (or as called for by your cake mix) |
2 cups cold milk |
1 1/4 cups water |
2 (3 1/2 ounce) boxes instant lemon pudding mix |
1/3 cup granulated sugar |
2 tablespoons powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350*. 2. Prepare cake as directed on box. 3. Pour into a greased 13x9 inch pan. 4. Set aside. 5. Beat milk, water, pudding and granulated sugar with wire wisk for 2 minutes. 6. Pour over batter. 7. Place pan on foil to catch any drips. 8. Bake 55 minute to 1 hour, until toothpick comes out clean. 9. Sauce will thicken as it cools. 10. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. 11. Store leftovers in refrigerator. |
