This is my favorite jello recipe. I love all the fruit and the sour cream just tops it off. Ingredients:
1 (6 ounce) package strawberry jell-o gelatin dessert |
2 cups boiling water |
2 (10 ounce) packages strawberries |
1 -20 ounce crushed pineapple |
3 bananas, mashed |
8 ounces sour cream |
Directions:
1. Thaw strawberries. 2. Dissolve jello in water, add berries and juice, undrained pineapple and mashed bananas. 3. Pour 1/2 in 8x12 pan, 2 small molds or 1 lg mold. 4. Chill about 1 hour. 5. Keep remaining jello at room temperature. 6. Remove from refrigerator and spread sour cream to top of chilled layer. 7. Cover with remaining jello and chill til set. |
