I got this off the internet. These look yummy! Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
32 caramels |
1 (12 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk |
1 (18 ounce) yellow cake mix |
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
2 eggs |
1 (12 ounce) bag mini chocolate chips |
1 cup butterscotch chips |
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan, combine butter, caramels and milk; cook and stir over medium heat until smooth. 2. Cool. 3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, oil and eggs; mix well. 4. Stir in chips (dough will be stiff). 5. Press 3/4 of the mixture into a greased 9 x 13 pan. 6. Bake at 350* for 15 minutes. 7. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes. 8. Pour caramel mixture over cooled crust. 9. Drop remaining dough over caramel layer. 10. Bake at 350* for 25 minutes. 11. Cool for 10 minutes and then run a knife around the edge of the pan. 12. Cool 40 minutes longer; cover and refrigerate to set the caramels. 13. Serve at room temperature. |
