1 kg mince meat |
1/4 cup channa dal / gram dal |
2 tbsp ginger |
2 big potatoes |
salt |
8 whole red chillies |
garam masala |
12 whole black pepper |
2 black cardamoms |
3 green cardamoms |
2 tsp jeera (cumin seeds) |
for filling |
cilantro |
1 big onion |
5-6 green chillies |
Directions:
1. Put the mince meat, dal, ginger, potatoes ( whole without peeling ) and red chillies in a pot and add water to cover. 2. Cook on high heat so that the water dries up and mince is cooked. 3. Remove and cool. Peel the potatoes and mash while hot. 4. Grind rest of the meat and dal mixture and incorporate the mashed potatoes in it. Mix well. 5. Now roast the garam masala and grind . 6. Mix this masala and salt to the keema potato mixture . 7. Now cut cilantro (coriander leaves), green chillies and onion finely and fill in the kebabs. 8. Shape in form of cutlets and shallow fry. 9. Serve with salad and mint chutney. |
