Ingredients:
1/2 cup(s) baking soda |
1 gallon(s) figs |
4 cup(s) sugar |
Directions:
1. CUT stems and wash in cold water. Soak in hot water with 1/2 cup of baking soda for about 15 minutes. Rinse. 2. MEASURE 2 heaping cups of figs to 1 cup of sugar into a dutch oven. Cook 45 minutes with lid on. Remove lid and cook down about 1 hour. |
