A healthy and flavorful way to make french fries or to serve the leftovers for the next days breakfast as home fries. *Uses Mrs. Dash seasoning and cumin spice Ingredients:
4 potatoes |
1/2 tsp cumin |
3 tablespoons olive oil |
1/2 tsp. paprika |
1/2 tsp. black pepper |
1/2 tsp. basil |
1/2 tsp. thyme |
1/2 tsp. rosemary |
1/2 tsp. garlic powder |
1/2 tsp. chili powder |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). 2. Cut potatoes into wedges. In a large bowl, mix olive oil, cumin, and *Mrs. Dash seasoning on of the potato wedges. *The paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, basil, thyme, rosemary, garlic powder can be blended together to substitute for Mrs. Dash. 3. Make sure to coat potatoes with oil/spice mixture and then place on a baking sheet. 4. Bake for 30 minutes in preheated oven or until golden brown and crispy. |
