This is a low-fat alternative to use for delicious white sauce, suitable for use with silverside, broccoli and cauliflour Ingredients:
2 tablespoons light butter |
2 tablespoons plain flour |
salt, to taste |
1 cup skim milk |
paprika, to taste |
Directions:
1. Melt Butter in Saucepan. 2. Remove from heat. 3. Add Flour, salt and paprika to form thick paste. 4. Slowly mix in skim milk, briskly whisking to prevent lumps. 5. Put pan back on low heat, stirring until sauce thickens. |
