My mother is the dictionary definition of chocoholic . As a child I was not allowed to have sweets often, we were big on vegetarian meals and so on. However, this little treat didn't count I guess, and I came home from school to animal crackers and icing, fruit and chococlate dip, movies and chocolate... you get the picture. note: my mother prefers Ghiradelli cocoa powder because she swears it's the best, but I find that Hershey's tatses just as heavenly
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon hot water
vanilla extract (very good!) or orange extract (very good!) or mocha extract (very good!) or cinnamon (very good!) or chili powder (very good!)
Directions:
1. Thouroughly mix cocoa and sugar.
2. Mix in hot water.
3. Add more hot water if it is too thick, but MAKE SURE that it is all dissolved first; this gets watery quickly.
4. Experiment with adding different flavorings as per your taste. Then dig in!
