Very low in fat and carbs. This recipe has been passed on by our great grandparents who were diabetic. It is a recipe that we continue to use and enjoy. Ingredients:
2 cups whole wheat flour |
2/3 cup splenda granular |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 tablespoon vanilla |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
2 eggs |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/4 cup butter |
4 bananas |
1/4 cup applesauce |
Directions:
1. Pre heat oven to 350 degrees.Combine Eggs, butter and apple sauce; mix well. Add vanilla, splenda sugar and cinnamon; do this with a mixer. Then add your Baking soda, Baking powder and Bananas; it will be a lumpy mixture when fininshed. Last add your flour in gradually.Bake for 60 to 65 minutes. |
