Low Fat rice pudding Ingredients:
2 cups rice, cooked |
2 cups skim milk |
1/2 cup sugar |
5 1/2 ounces fat-free evaporated milk |
1 tablespoon butter |
1/2 cup raisins |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Put cooked rice, sugar, milk, vanilla, butter and raisins in a pot. Simmer until milk is absorbed, about 30 minutes. Add evaporated milk and continue to simmer and stir until absorbed, about 15 minutes. Add cinnamon and stir. 2. Spoon into serving dish and top with fat free whipped cream, if desired. |
