A quick, nutritious, and yummy bread that's great with a little butter or served with soup or dinner. It's more of a cornbread than a loaf bread. Ingredients:
1/2 cup cornmeal |
1/2 cup whole wheat flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
2 teaspoons sugar |
2 teaspoons honey |
1 tablespoon yogurt |
1 egg |
3/4 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees and grease a loaf pan. 2. Combine cornmeal, wheat flour, sugar, and baking powder. 3. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix well. 4. Spoon/pour batter into loaf pan. 5. Bake for 15 minutes. |
