Low Fat Cranberry Nut Bread |

This bread is low fat, tart, and not very sweet. You may want to increase sugar if you like sweet breads. Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
3/4 cup orange juice |
1 tablespoon orange zest |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
1 egg |
1 1/2 cups cranberries |
1/2 cup walnuts (optional) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Mix all ingredients until well blended. 3. Bake in 9 x 5 loaf pan for 55 minutes. |
