Full flavor, low fat, and low calorie hummus. Spicy and oh so delicious! Serve with veggie tray, pretzels, crackers, or your favorite dipping snacks. Ingredients:
2 (15 1/2 ounce) cans chickpeas |
8 tablespoons tahini |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
1 teaspoon lemon zest |
4 garlic cloves |
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 jalapeno pepper |
1 cup cilantro |
Directions:
1. Drain and rinse chickpeas, reserving 2/3 cup of the canned chickpea liquid. 2. In a blender combine all the ingredients, gradually adding the reserved chickpea liquid, and process until smooth. |
