Low Fat Brownie Muffins

Sometimes you want something chocolate, but you don't want to give in to the craving. That's where these muffins come in. They are easy to make using off-the-shelf ingredients. A friend shared this recipe with me many years ago and I still make them to this day.
Ingredients:
3 cups all-bran cereal (the thread kind as opposed to flakes)
3 cups water
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 (20 ounce) box low-fat brownie mix (approximate size)
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350*. Soak the cereal with water until it breaks down (approximately 10-15 minutes).
2. Add baking powder and brownie mix. Stir well.
3. Pour into 24 muffin tins that you have coated with cooking spray.
4. Bake 350* for 20-25 minutes.
