This is one I experimented with until I got just what I wanted...a low-fat bran muffin that actually tastes good! Ingredients:
1/2 cup applesauce |
2 egg whites |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 cup all-bran cereal |
1 cup nonfat sour cream |
1 1/4 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together and bake at 425 degrees for 17 minutes. I use the large muffin tins. |
