This makes a great breakfast drink and contains just over 300 grams calciium, this will make approximately 2 cups. Ingredients:
1 large ripe banana (cut into slices and frozen) |
1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt |
1/2 cup nonfat milk |
1 tablespoon nonfat dry milk powder |
1/4-1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
3 ice cubes |
sugar (optional) |
Directions:
1. Place the sliced bananas then the yogurt, milk, dry milk powder, vanilla, ice cubes and sugar (if using) in a blender. 2. Blend until smooth. 3. Serve immediately. |
