Found this recipe on this site, and made some excellent tweaks ! I am VERY impressed with the original and glad I found it. I use Trader Joe's whole rolled oats. You can add a small amount of chocolate chips if you wish ! Ingredients:
4 ripe bananas (medium to large) |
3/4 cup whole wheat flour |
3/4 cup flour |
1 cup rolled oats (i use trader joe's) |
3/4 cup sugar |
4 ounces unsweetened applesauce |
1 teaspoon real vanilla extract |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder |
1 egg |
Directions:
1. Mash bananas in bowl. 2. Add other ingredients and mix well. 3. Pour into large sprayed loaf pan, or muffin tins if you wish. 4. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour 5 minutes or until wooden skewer comes out clean. |
